My electricity has been out for almost 30 hours now. That should be enough time to adapt to a new way of living, but here are a few things I've attempted recently:
a) Put a cd into the stereo to listen to after drying my hair;
b) Checked in for today's flight online and downloaded boarding pass to print from home;
c) Plugged in cell phone for recharging;
d) Obsessed over blog entry for so long that laptop battery died; and
e) Turned on the bathroom light 50 million f-ing times even though I KNOW nothing will happen when I do that.
I'm not complaining. My roommate reminded me that electricity is a luxury that millions go without. Still, I don't enjoy eating melted fudgsicles from a bowl (that didn't stop me from having three).

At least you have an excuse for "saving" your fudgsicles by eating 3 at a time. For that, one needs an excuse, though I have none except for my obsession (runs in the family) with chocolate and ice cream-like treats.
I drove to Uptown on Wednesday afternoon and half the shops were closed. I stood on the street reading the sign on the Teen Clothing Shop Door over and over again. My comprehension skills evaporated in this situation.
This goes back to a few entries before, but spent yesterday in sun trying to be conscious of lines, despite lack of tube top or G&T, but alas, without you there to flip me like the raw meat I am, I burned severely - and have LINES! What to do? (missed you much!) < PS. Everyone should avoid paying full price to see Madagascar.
