BWCAW Photo Essay

On the water.

Campsite #1. A lovely day.

May not look like it, but here we are stuck and comtemplating how to get back to Campsite #1 through the motherf-ing wind.

Rocks rock.

We're supposed to go through that?

All-Around Super Camper and Canoer Award winners, Greg and Andrew.

The laughter. Oh, the laughter.

Smiling through the pain. How I hate the portage.

But it's always worth it.

Campsite #2. After the rain.

Ma Biscuit and Pinch-A-Loaf.

Sunset. Our last night.

Sunrise. Our last morning.

Your pictures are stunning. What a talented photographer you are! I've never been up to the BW, but I hear people talk about it all the time. With all my little ones, I don't think I'll make it up there anytime soon. So it's nice to see it in your photos.

Oh I so miss the trip already and most of all, I miss you jdoc. I believe that all of your predictions came true for the trip ... all except the one about me farting, of course. I don't know what you're talking about.

Loaf symmetry has me laughing out loud. When are you starting your blog, Kwin?
