Yeah. I know it's blurry. But it looks like I meant to do that and gives you an idea of how much Aimee Mann likes to RAWK OUT!
She put on an excellent show at the zoo this week. The songs from her new album tell the story of the cross-country adventures of a Vietnam vet and his young lover. It's called a "concept album." Didn't know there was a name for such a thing, but if I ever write an album, I'm going that route.
And I gotta say, it makes me so happy to witness a good drunk stumbling around the stands or to hear an obnoxious fan wailing like an injured Frankenstein at the end of each song. Just not a complete concert without them.

No, but I'm sure that I'd be hooked if I saw one episode. I'm easily won over.
Is it any good?
I like it because I like the music they have contestants sing. Plus I was a big INXS fan in high school. And the "judges" aren't all mean like on American Idol. One of the best singers, Jordis, is from St. Paul
