My rice is currently stuck in the pot because I used the wrong sized lid and can't get it off. I put the whole thing in the freezer thinking that the metal might condense or some other chemical/physical thing might occur that will make the lid removable. Even if that doesn't work, it's nice to have the evidence of my culinary stupidity hidden from plain view.

oh my god, i laughed out loud about this. so, are you going to be in my luch swap?!
i like to stick the stuff in the freezer for a few days before i stick it all in the trash.
Developmental disposal.
As you can see, the lunch swap would be a total disaster and cause much stress for me. Those people don't want PB&J every day, do they?
I'm a devotee of my school's lunch club. Life made easier. I think I'll make that this year's Lunch Club motto.
If we had a Lunch Club at my office, I can tell you what I would eat - McDonald's, Wendy's, L&D Chinese Buffet (don't let it fool you - they are visited OFTEN by the health dept.) and Pizza Hut.... that's what I see in my lunch room. Don't get me wrong, there is an unusual share of healthy and active people around here. But they would rather spend their lunch hour running or working out ...
My lunches at school used to consist of doritoes. The hall monitor used to say she was going on the Cari Ashford diet. Of course, I also ran 5 miles after school, so the doritoes didn't matter. Everyone knew something was up when I started bringing salads and more healthy choices (that's when I was first pregnant).
