Essential

I just drove eighteen minutes from my new house to arrive at a Dunn Bros. where I could use wireless access to read blogs and maybe write one of my own. Then, on my New York Times homepage, I read this, "President Bush today called on Americans to avoid non-essential driving as the average national prices climbed higher."

In the name of patriotism, it's time to contact my local cable internet carrier and get on with my life.

I was hoping you'd see the light and get yourself some wireless hookups....

I think there might be some coffee shops with wireless near your new house. Maybe that place on 42nd and Cedar, or one of the coffee shops in Longfellow? I'll ask around for you.

I wonder if Bush will call for those who fly private jets to fly commercial instead.

No pressure, but I really think this should have been taken care of awhile ago. Let's get those priorities in order, my friend.

My sister said that they cancelled school for two days in Atlanta, GA because of the gas issue. Could someone explain the logic in that?

I am now driving to your house for free internet use.
