A Mortgage and So Much More

I'm not living in my new house yet, but I feel compelled to check on it every day to make sure that

a) the new paint is not peeling off the tiles in the bathroom,
b) the basement has not flooded,
c) the old stove is not leaking gas (pretty sure Jesus used a similar model), or
d) someone has not broken in to steal the four boxes of books, used paint cans, and toilet paper that maintain sole possession of the house.

Is it normal to worry so much about something nonhuman?

I'm pretty sure I mostly worry about non-human things. In fact, anything beyond the base on the heirarchy of needs is pretty much non-human.

I pronounce you normal! Go forth and prosper. (just don't develop OCD - distinct possiblity with your emerging stove obsession...)

IT'S SO CUTE!!! I'm directing everyone to see it. Take more pics of the house - we all need to visualize where you'll soon be living. When is the move-in date? Is roommate coming with you then too?

I need to come visit again.

Congratulations! You must be so very proud. It looks like a nice place to have parties - sophisticated cocktail parties where nothing gets broken, of course.
