Sicko, Part II

After ten days of coughing and blowing, I finally took a sick day. What should have been a day for sleeping and recuperating became a day of grading to get ready for conferences. And I'm feeling, even, like I didn't get quite enough done. This inability to relax, I realize, is my true illness, one for which I desperately need a cure.

Double true. Yoga must help with this illness, yes?

But you did take a sick day and I'm proud of you for that. It's a good step towards taking care of yourself. You'll beat (both) of these illness, yet!

PS< sorry my stupid phone died.

Maybe you'll get to rest on the weekend. Or better yet, make that silly kid in the back of the room teach while you take his place napping.... yah, isn't that every teacher's fantasy?

yeah, doctors are always an option. they have these things called antibiotics that are helpful from time to time.
Plus, I think, a hot rock massage would be good for you. I'm having one today and i know for that one hour, i will have no choice but to relax. can't wait to see you tomorrow night. i'm really happy about this trip.
