Girl Gone Wild 2006

Heading out East to see the sister tomorrow, which, incidentally, is where the other sister says she's from because she lives in Montana and North Dakota is "out East" from there. Took me three hours to pack for this trip and I'm still not sure that I have everything. The process is rather ineffecient as I try on most outfits before deciding to pack them in the bag and then I throw in every other random tanktop and sweater just in case. All of this after waiting for the clothes to dry. And don't EVEN get me started on the shoe problem. I didn't mind all of the hard work of the evening, though. I'm looking ahead fondly to the time I'll spend with baby sis in the Big Apple. We were there together about five years ago, and now that she's twenty-five, I think, this time, I'm going to let her cross the street without holding my hand. But not at night. I'm just not ready for her to be that grown up.

Make sure that you take care of each other and have a great time. Your mother would love to be with you. I expect lots of pictures. Have a safe trip and enjoy.

Have fun in that fantastic big city! And keep an eye out for that "welcome to NYC" moment.
