Lowering the Bar

Last week, I didn't do anything particularly well. Tasks were forgotten, items lost, and words miscommunicated. It was a blur of movement from one minor crisis to another. As I reflect upon it all today, I think it best to blame others. If no responsibilities were placed upon me, I wouldn't have to let anyone down. Embracing this philosophy will, I hope, release a bit of the pressure caused by impending deadlines in the week to come. I'll do what I can, and all the rest is just someone else's problem.

Sigh.

I feel better already.

blame and recriminations. I'll pass a few around myself. I think that's the ticket to pulling me out of a weird doldrumy kind of day. thanks for the leading the way.
