Project Parkway
The parents are coming to help clean up the yard this weekend and I have high hopes for the end result. My part in the effort, aside from the actual physical labor, is to stop telling myself that I am totally inadequate when it comes to home ownership. Believing is half of the battle. Having parents who will drive four hundred and fifty miles to help you is the other.

You haven't flooded your entire house by turning the heat down far too low over a long winter absence, have you? Don't worry; I'm sure you're doing JUST fine!

Have fun with your folks and the house this weekend. I hope some day I am mature enough to try the home ownership thing.
i need to get on yard detail this week. the garden's looking fairly shaggy. a favorite field trip is to the green house each spring to pick up a few plants and some new lawn ornaments.
