I had, perhaps, the best run of my life last Sunday. Twelve and a half miles at a solid pace and two more miles on top of that at an even faster trot. I don't know what got into me, but let's all remember that run for posterity sake when I declare, with tears streaming down my face, "I can't do it! I can't take another step!" It's out there. Just waiting for me.

It's a picture from June, but I neglected to give it proper blog attention back then.
I can't wait to cheer you on at the marathon! I'm already thinking of poster slogans...
You might be right about the crummy runs ahead of you, but you have some awesome runs, just like this one, too. It's so pavlovian, really.
JM I'm waiting for another sign that says, "Marathon Runners .... Do it for HOURS." I Loved it.
I've had mediocre runs AT BEST. But I"m trudging along at the usual pace and I'll GET 'R DUN! iPod and Jdoc will get me through anything during the marathon!
Awesome! I'm supposed to do a 2 1/2 hour run this weekend, but the heat might steer me to do it on a treadmill...YUCK
Gratz hun!
