"That One Was Especially Dry."
Cassie is trying to pull her weight around here, but I'm going to have to draw the line at watering the fake plants. She's done it once so far, and really, she doesn't have to.
In my defense, it looks and feels real! And the moss on top of the "soil" (styrofoam balls) soaked the water right up. Why the hell do they make such life-like fake plants anyway.
fake plants ARE odd. let's face it. but i guess they can look attractive and in that way they're very practical. i had a cactus die this week. i've been living with it for about 8 years and it just caved in on itself and died. and that makes me wonder...what's the life expectancy on a house plant? do you happen to know jdoc?
For some reasons, my aggregator hasn't been recognizing that you have new entries. I was like four behind. I don't think that's ever happened to me before.
cdoc - i've done that at my mom's house, so I understand.
I don't know about the life span of the common house plant. I've had one of mine for five years at least. I'm afraid if I guess now, my plants will surely die. Except for the fake one. It'll continue to do just fine.
