Resolution: Be a Better Sport Win More Games

Dave and I spent the New Year's holiday at his family's cabin. He taught me how to play cribbage. I lost 8 of the 9 games we played. At one point I got so mad I threw down my cards and stormed out of the room. This scene was reminiscent of last New Year's Eve when he accused me of cheating at Yahtzee. I'm trying to keep such displays to just once each year.

i was losing horribly at "imaginiff" on new year's eve, so I just left that party and headed over to another one. I don't mind not winning, but i am not crazy at all about losing.
Imaginiff is a weird game tho, i think.
hny, kiddo.

This sounds like the time Hubs and I were at a forest service cabin deep in the woods and we played rummy about 24 times; of which I lost 23. At one point he was going to laugh at my frustration and I looked at him and said through clenched teeth, "AND don't you even think about laughing." I didn't storm out but I have to say that I gloated about that 1 winning game for about, well, it was about a year ago, so I guess I'm still gloating. The good news is that I now win most of the card games we play together. SWEET JUSTICE is what I say.
