The -55 windchill didn't stop me from having a good time up in North country this weekend. Neither did the five-hour power outage that knocked out heat and lights in all of the lodge except for the lobby. Nor did my eight falls and one minor head injury during cross country skiing. I had such a good time, in fact, that I didn't even mind when Dave, standing right in front of the receptionist, held out the room key and said matter-of-factly, "You go ahead and poop. I'll check us out."
Just some slapdash thoughts that have very little to do with anything and a lot to do with everything.

"Did I just say that out loud?"

I gotta hear what the receptionist's reaction was - and YOUR reaction. What did you do? I'm just glad to hear that another Doc family member isn't afraid to write about poop.
Luckily, the receptionist was chatting with someone else and I'm not sure she heard it. I stared at him until he said, "Did I say that out loud?" and then we burst out laughing. If anything, she wondered what we were laughing about.
