Associate of the Month

Is it ironic that we parked in the open Kohls' "Associate of the Month" parking spot and then later told the woman in front of us in the check-out line that she had to move back seven people to the end of the line because she had cut in and we live in a society and there are rules?

Maybe irony isn't the right word.

Hypocritical?  Yeah.  That's probably better.

Definately hypocritical.

The employee of the month would have wanted a customer to park in her spot while she was gone. Makes parking easier for everyone else if we take that spot and leave another open for someone on crutches. Kind of like the late merge.

Right. Except that the associate of the month spot was actually CLOSER to the building than the handicap spots.

So the issue is not that the EOTM spot was closer than the handicap spot. If i hadn't parked there, no one would, and then i would have parked in another spot in the lot. With the lot being tight to begin with, there would have been one less net spot in the lot for parking.

For those of you reading this, our blogs are really just how jessie and i communicate with each other.
