Just some slapdash thoughts that have very little to do with anything and a lot to do with everything.

That's some pig. He's terrific. He's radiant. Well, he's clean anyway.
We celebrated our six-month anniversary on Sunday by using a wedding present gift-card to a lovely restaurant. I had Top Chef's Kevin in mind when I ordered the pork belly as my entrée. He always made it look so good. I'm sure there are those out there who love a good pork belly (including my husband who finished mine), but it was a little fatty for me. "What did you expect?" Dave asked. "It's a pig's belly." And then he demonstrated by rocking his arms, swaying like a pig, and saying something about Wilbur. All in all, a memorable night.

So you did have pork belly. Dave text that to me and when I asked "pork belly?" his response was, "Yes. C'mon Wilbur, let's roll in the mud on our pink bellies with small white hairs scattered about. Delicious."
Yeah. That sounds like my husband.
that's exactly what the picture is missing. those little white fine hairs that come out of the pig's belly in random direction, serving no purpose i can figure out. yet.
There was way too much pork bodies being cut up this season.
My new mantra: More VEGGIES on TOP CHEF!
OH GAWD, this post and the comments almost made me hurl!
That really does look bad. Maybe I will stop eating bacon. MDoc
Mom, I'm not sure there is EVER a reason to stop eating bacon. Mmmm, bacon.
