Common Cold
Today I'm sick. I've been trying to function normally but would really like to take a nap. I also wish I could get that fluid-feeling out of my ears. Or get the actual fluid out if that's what's going on. We have an otoscope in the house, but I can never get Dave to look in my ears. I think it could be really interesting. He doesn't seem to agree.

Nap while Sam is napping. Always such a good idea, I know, but naptime sometimes feels like the only time to get things done.
I'm positive that it would be interesting if he would only check it out. He understand this with time.
DAVE! You look in those ears right NOW! It only takes a second. (I always wish I was related to a doctor, so I'm v. frustrated by this blog entry!)

I did get Dave to look in my ears once a couple of months back when I was convinced that something had crawled in there during the night. "Huh," he said. "I don't know what that is. Let's look again in a week or so." And then we forgot to look again in a week or so! Now the same ear feels like it's full of water. This can't be good, right?
