Sam has been writing music lately. He strums on his guitar and sings while Dave writes down the lyrics and the melody. The subject matter is light. Castles. Farms. Trains. It's the cutest thing. Or, it seemed like the cutest thing until tonight Sam strummed away singing, "It's the end of the world. It's the end of the world." I mean, the tune was light-hearted. Uplifting even. And Sam was smiling without a hint of sarcasm. Dave just nodded like he totally got it and wrote it all down.
