Camp Report, Part II

David Mura, poet and novelist, spoke to our group last night. He ended with this:

"Because the journey was great, the person who started it could not be the one who finished it."

hmmm - sucks to be the one who starts but doesn't get to finish...like starting the marathon and not crossing the finish line. But I like the idea of passing the baton...

I took it to mean that the same physical person finishes, but a spiritually and intellectually changed one finishes.

Very poetic ... not to be confused with pathetic or prophetic.

Has anyone tried the banana pie blizzard from DQ?
