Hope or Halloween?
Can it be things are getting better with the kiddos at work? Surely, I am jinxing it all to hell right now, but they've actually been, dare I say it. . . pleasant. Staying after school to make up work, thanking me at the end of class, raising hands instead of blurting out, keeping the pencil stationary instead of tapping incessantly, walking in the hallway -- all these things have happened this week. It's freaking me out and I'm knocking on wood.

I know! Thanking me is freakish. It was only one kid, but still, I'm reeling.

i'm knocking on wood too, for you. no tapping pencils. What bliss that must be. i'm in a room full of tappers. but it might be getting better. my twitch has almost disappeared. yay.
