I live by the Socratic philosophy that I know that I do not know very much. For this reason, the prospect of defending my thesis tomorrow is downright terrifying. They'll expect me to know some shit and pleading the Socratic won't get me very far, to be sure. The only thing I can say I've learned for certain is a bit about myself. Perhaps that's what this whole process has really been about. Know thyself, the Oracle at Delphi once said. Why is that such an arduous task?

Isque, you are whip smart. That's one thing I know for certain. So head on it to that defense with that knowledge. You're going to knock 'em dead. Oh, and be funny. You are funny. Definitely, be funny.
I agree, you wouldn't have gotten this far with your educational pursuits if you weren't smart (I like to call you a genius when I talk about you). And the smarts with the humor is a killer package. You will do wonderful tomorrow, I have never doubted you for a second, you shouldn't doubt yourself either.
Your audience tomorrow - they already support you. They see how smart and articulate you are. They want you to succeed.

yeeha. Think of it as a big party. Your big party. Wear something silly or edgy under your clothes that only you know about. And just think about that item before you answer each question. I'm really excited that it's TOMORROW!!! i'm going to have sixers sending Raise the Roof vibes your way.
