Holiday Spirit

We have a group of kids who like to stay after school with their teachers. Every. Single. Day.

This is nice. In theory.

Most of the time, though, it means I'm not getting any work done. And couldn't they have used class time better so they wouldn't have to stay after? I think yes.

So today, I didn't even feel bad when I told four of them to GET OUT and GET OUT NOW. Exactly those words.

Tomorrow, I'm locking the door immediately. They'll pound and pound. But I won't answer.

I applaud this method of "tough love" - you are not meant to babysit.

Thasss right. There is no getting any work done when there are adolescents around. Did you keep adolescents around when you were working on the BAP? I didn't think so.
