Today is the last day of my winter break, and I am proud to report that I have managed to do very little in the past three and a half weeks (which includes blogging, as many of you have pointed out). This break has been sort of a turning point for me. You see, usually I feel overwhelmingly guilty for all that I've neglected to do during my downtime. This time, however, I feel overwhelmingly grateful for the fact that for once in my life I simply
r e l a x e d, guilt-free. That's not so say that some things weren't accomplished. I did relearn how to knit, read an entire book for pleasure, earned the top score on Cassie's hand-held Tetris game, and watched The Office, Seasons 1, 2, and 3 (the internet has everything if you search hard enough, although perhaps I shouldn't be admitting that here).
So, I'm quite ready to get back on that horse tomorrow. May even be looking forward to it in some small way. In a small, small, small way, that is.

Oh my goodness, the sky has fallen - or something. Cuz jdoc doesn't relax without guilt. Relax sometimes, yes, without guilt, NEV.ER. The floods are on their way. Locusts heading with it. Take cover people.
Good for you!
I used to rock at tetris.
I think it's an excellent way to spend your time.
I may have to buy a new tetris.
I haven't seen it in a while.
