Sniffling for Weeks

I'm convinced that I have a sinus infection. I've had this headache behind my eyes for a few days now and there's just no air moving through my nasal passages.

In situations like this it might seem like an advantage to have a physician living in the house. Yet when Dave did an ultrasound of my sinuses last night, he found no evidence of an infection and now I have no right to keep complaining about a condition that, apparently, I'm not suffering from.

I suggested that he might be missing something on the ultrasound. "I mean, that happens, right?" I asked.

"Not with me," he answered.

This is the kind of confidence I find desirable in a physician.

Just, a little less so in a partner.

I think you should feel happy that he took you seriously in the first place. Seriously enough to apply his skillful ultra-sound taking abilities.

And then you can just use your blog to complain away ;) Or call your sister. I hear she's a good listener. LOVE YOU! Feel better soon.
