It's spring break here. And while it hasn't been an exciting, getaway sort of break, it has been break-ish in it's own way. Here it is Wednesday, after all, and I haven't done a bit of work yet.
A few highlights:
We spent a long weekend at the cabin. Sam and Dave did projects around the house and washed the car. Eloise practiced her walking skills. And I began watching the hilarious Netflix series The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Well done, Tina Fey, btw.
Yesterday was a day home with the kiddos. Eloise and I made a quick trip to Whole Foods while Sam enjoyed preschool. Then when we picked Sam up from school we made another quick trip to Whole Foods to return some jojoba oil that I, myself did not place in the cart. Eloise! I guess she was feeling dry?
Today's spring break adventures took us to the dry cleaner and Menards. We came home with only the items we meant to purchase: bird seed, jump rope, ball, and chocolates. Is it just me or is Menards one of the greatest places on earth? Seriously.
Next up, I plan to write the afternoon away while the kids hangout with our Fab Nanny, Heather. Then I'll spend the evening with my Fab Yoga Instructor, Stacy Jo.
It's not Florida, but I'll take it.
